I agree with everyone!
It wasn't a fair contest and I think a new contest would be nice.
The format change wasn't such a good idea... It's lagging at times.
Bottemline: Unfair! A new FAIR contest would be nice.

the point is that, the guy didn't made a work, actually he just used the previous my offers logo and changed from swf to gif format. thats not fair to he wins i think.
another idea: make like a date to the choose of the best work, cause its better when people know how much time they got to work on their logos.

The contests organization was pretty nice, but in my opinion the winners could be choose in a poll. Of course, the poll should require +50 posts to choose a winner, because some members could try to cheat.

I agree with you guys. It was an unfair winner.
As the admin said on the topic, the task was to CREATE A NEW logo of my offers. And, I don't know what you consider to be new creation, but for me, it's something you've done, not copied!!!

No, getting a prize but not having your creation put up wouldn't be nice. A competition is a competition, if you don't get the first place, that's it; better luck next time.

I agree, but then everyone makes mistakes.
The person who won the 1st contest did make quite a number of submissions I guess so he probably deserves something but definatly not the grand prize.

I actually think Pesollo's idea would be better because if we would let visitors (non-registered users and there are many) to vote then they would be able to point on the best creation.
This is a good point and we will make a note of it for next time.
