There is an interesting feature on this site that allows independent lending and borrowing.
The way it works is users have a trust score, that improves over time and good use. A lot of large and genuine loans and repayments do seem to happen here as well as many tiny ones from as little as $0.10 but uselessly no lower than $1.
Obviously it is very easy to lose your money if you lend it to someone who decides not to repay your kindness, its your choice who you accept.
You can view the person and see how many transactions of what kind they have done and if any defaulted. A high trust score does not mean this user has borrowed before, you can build up trust by lending! Watch out for users who have a good rating for purely lending then suddenly want to borrow a large amount!
I approve people with over a hundred successful loans minimum. I have been so far repaid for every loan i have given. The profit varies to what the lender set, usually around 10%.
I have been playing around with this for a week or 2 now and have given quite a few mini loans and made over $3 (not much yet) but i have reinvested it all and continuing this strategy i could quickly build up how many loans are being repaid daily, quickly reinvesting it all back in. (i already have a $5 loan $6 repay with a successful borrower. $1 for nothing but a click.) this week its $0.10 on a dollar, next it will be $1 on $10 etc.
I have already turned the $15 cashed out from this lovely site into almost $20 ;)
