How can someone become a Moderator?

I know it might sound pointless, but I was wondering how it is possible for one to become a Mod. Not saying I want to, I mean I would if I could, but I am saying how does someone become one? Is it based on posts? Or does someone just ask to be one? Also is there an opportunity to become a Mod without getting paid.

it isnt based on posts, i think if the admin sees that u help the users then u have more opportunities to become mod.

but nowadays i think there are already many mods, there isnt enough activity here in the forum to have the necessity of having more mods, from my point of view obviously!! ;-) because is the admin who rules here for sure hahaha.

why do u want to become mod?
if u say that u want to be mod without receiving money to exchange of doing it, why dont u keep helping people without being mod? ehehe it's the same...

well, anyway the right answer to ur questions will be from the admin so wait for his reply ;-)
