I am confused?

i am getting confused between admin and moderator.

what does a admin do? and what does a moderator do?

both looks similar to me..

I know its out of topic , but asking simply bcoz of my curiosity

I think that admin runs the site and forum
moderator only the forum.

Admin = Big Boss
Moderator = employee

The admin can change everything.

The admin can pay you, ETC.

I believe moderators may be able to hand out gold memberships. They also pretty much run the forum on the Administrators behalf.

the "admin" has total control of the content, he can add edit or delete "forum, topic , user ...." he has all rights.

the moderator has total control of the forum content so he can not add or delet a forum.

if you have other question i'm in your service.

An admin is the "owner" of the site, moderators are people who moderate forum from spam, illegal things...
