not really, when you see a globe frontwards the north pole and the south pole get sized while the left and right side keeps normal,
well, at least thats what i think.

Why wouldn't the left and the right sides get sized too? It's a circle you know... So I don't get why it wouldn't get sized just as well.. But, don't get me wrong, what you've made is really awesome! Just my opinion. If it's how you want to have them, then you should do it! :-)
