Actually, there are many shows that make fun of God, Jesus, the Pope, the Church, and everything else... and the most they get is a "cut it out" from various religious groups. I agree with South Park. Either it's ALL okay to fun of, or NONE of it is. Islam doesn't get a special pass because terrorists in that group threaten with violence.
I'm not disrespecting Mohammed. But the creators have a right to say whatever they want about whatever. Heck, they had an entire episode about Scientology making fun of every aspect of it. They had an episode about Catholics where the priest in South Park was the ONLY ONE out of the whole world-wide church not molesting children.
They've gone so far with every other religion, and they can't even show Mohammed walk down the street. That's moronic. Mohammed isn't even as sacred to the Muslims as Jesus is to Christians, because they believe Jesus WAS God. Yet they showed Jesus on the show taking a DUMP on his followers. And in another episode get shot do death. And in another they showed Jesus get his throat slit by Kyle, a Jewish boy. Yup, a Jew killing Jesus. And him bleeding to death.
Give me a break. No special treatment for one religion: It's either all okay, or none of it is.
