There is this offer for Canada called Desktop Smiley and It has been totally messing around with my computer... I also recommend this offer being removed completely from the Canadian offers page.

Hello there,

The offer has been removed from the Canadian offers page:

http://www.get-paid.com/forum/viewtopic.php?post_id=54128#forumpost54128

I am looking at their webpage and it shows:

They say NO SPYWARE - do you say they did install something bad in your computer? I've already passed everything, all of this information and awaiting the advertiser's response about this.

Sorry can't see EDIT button now. I just recieved a popup and when I clicked "X". A window popped up saying "Your crush is in (my town/city) <-- It actually stated my town and said it's searching for you" I think I'm being keylogged through all this bs. I have scanned my computer multiple times already with Norton AntiVirus and Spysweeper. Spy cookies were removed but these pop-ups continue to pop-up randomly when browsing the internet and I believe if I remain on the same page for a long period of time.. There is a timer before another popup comes.

Somebody please get me out of this bs. GpTreasure those downloads are not safe at all. It is really ticking me off.

I do apologize very much for that incident and working with the right people to try to see what happened.

Have you tried to either restore your system or remove the Desktop Smiley program from the computer? Please update how's everything now? I am checking to see what can be done about this besides removing this offer, as they were not supposed to cause a such thing to you.

Hi Muyi,
I let the advertiser know about it and awaiting his reply, if nothing comes up we will take down this offer.

I do apologize for those issues, the advertiser is definitely obligated to not cause those issues on anyone's computer.

You said you have no Restore Point available. Can you please consult with this Microsoft Guide and let me know if it helps?

I'd be happy to help as much as possible with suggestions and tools to overcome this issue, and once again this is really bad someone does it, and we'll just give the advertiser at least opportunity to check what's up.

thanks for your suggestion. It is the first time I got such problem.
The restore function I personally turned off. So I can not retore. It gives a good lessen. I will turn on the restore function as long as I can clean my computer. Now almost as long as I open a site, there will be a popup （both for firefox and IE, adblock add-on strangely can not work). I will re-install my OS tommorrow which is to work for sure.
Never mind, GP. It is not your fault.
Good night

Thanks man. I have never dealt with the kind of service you give us. You answer all questions and concerns and seem very professional. I did go to my system restore and I guess my computer had automatically created system restore points. I restored my computer to a previous date and all went well.

I hope you can deal with those people though.

Thanks for your help.

btw.. I even got paid for that offer. THANKS ALOT
