Before get-paid changed their website layout, they had the option in which you can see the referral system in great detail. It showed what you will earn if you have up to 500 referrals.

Does get-paid only allow each user to have a maximum of 500 referrals? or can you exceed that amount and earn 1000, 2000, 3000 etc. referrals?

You don't have a limit. You can have as much referrals as you can.
