business card

Hello, I just tried the business card entry, and I have 2 suggestions.

First I have a scroll bar so I can't see everything in the window. This is likely a simple scaling issue.

Second some of the cards are sideways, which makes them hard to read. I suggest a feature where you can rotate the image.

Thanks.

I agree with your second suggestion, I also had a hard time transcribing the vertical words. A flip button would sure make it more easier.

with regards to the 1st suggestion, I'm not sure but maybe it might be dependent on the type of device being used. I had no problem with this entry using my desktop, but it might be a different case if it is viewed via small screened devices.

17" laptop screen, forgot the resolution. It might be some browser setting I guess.

We don't provide the platform but we've asked the provider to avoid scanning the card in sideways - they promised to keep these scans to minimum.
Thanks!

Another suggestion: It would be nice if I could "zoom in" and type at the same time. As it is when I zoom, then go to type, when I move my mouse away from zooming it un-zooms. Some cards have tiny type size and poor quality scans, making them incredibly difficult to read without zooming. This is mostly a problem with cared in non-english languages, when entering the address.

I think you could zoom while you type BK, Just hover your cursor on the font you want to zoom and leave it there while you encode. You could use the TAB KEY to switch from the current "box/selection" to the next. Hope this works for you :)

I hope there would be a separate button wherein we could view the examples seen in the introduction of this feature.
I am having difficulties in some areas of this task because I wasn't able to memorize the examples given at the inroduction of this feature.

I recommend you to capture the screen then paste it to any photo editing software like paint. Then save it.
